Only while traveling do you encounter the astonishing phenomenon of employees completely caught off guard at the sight of potential clients, as if they couldn’t, for the life of them, understand that a foreigner could possibly be here to buy the product advertised on the storefront. Well, this is exactly what happened that morning when we stepped into a coffee shop and created mass panic by asking for—get ready for this one—two cups of coffee! Which, after repeatedly validating our request, they eventually served us… And then refused that we pay. I know, quite the business model. | ||
