Philips and I hadn’t been apart for more than an instant since he had showed up in front of my tent one evening almost two weeks earlier. At one point, we had been attacked by a pack of dogs and fought them off together. We had each other’s back. He was a vagabond, wandering of his own free will—a kindred spirit. We had now reached the end of the road, and as my return bus started distancing me from him, I pressed my face against the window. Tears started sliding down my cheeks. I did not hold them back.

This picture and story brought tears to my eyes too.
Congratulations on your wonderful presentation. My brother e-mailed me, I wasn’t able to be there in person. I am really looking forward to seeing it. My brother told he me he now understands that one person can change the world.Wonderful!

Thanks Wendy, I still can’t believe the responses to my presentation, it’s been overwhelming. And I’ve already been asked a few times for a repeat… I’m glad to see that my experiences can touch people in such a meaningful way.
