I had spent the summer slaving away as an intern for a thriving gaming company in Montreal, locked in an office for months and hypnotized by a computer screen eight hours a day. I was hungry for adventure. There were a few weeks left before the start of the semester, so I grabbed a map, glanced over it, and put my finger down. Peru it is.
