Happiness

I had found the ideal spot, removed from civilization and serene. I was floating on my back in the middle of a lake, staring at the fluffy white clouds making their way across the immaculate blue sky above. The water under me was dark, deep, and cool. The sun shining on my tanned skin felt warm and penetrating. My senses had reached their zenith, yet I could’ve fallen asleep. Mother Nature enveloped me. I couldn’t tell where I stopped and she started anymore. We were one. I was happy. I started laughing uncontrollably, alone, in the middle of a lake.

I was all alone so…I guess the kudos should go to the 10 second timer on my camera. 🙂

It was somewhere around the border between Ontario and Manitoba, I don’t know the name of the lake. I just saw it from the road and decided to get to it and jump in.

That is pretty cool. I just want to say, from all those postcards, it looks like you have lived an incredible life. I wish I could have the chance to do half the stuff you have done. I especially like getting kicked out of Disneyland, that was amazing.

hahaha! Yes, I love that one, I still laugh everytime I read it. Man that was hilarious. Yeah, you know I try to keep my life from falling into the “norm”. The world is full of exciting stuff. I mean at this time last week I was in the middle of the bush in Africa, surrounded by crocodiles and hippos. I think this stuff is available to everybody, it’s just a question of making it happen.

This is very beautiful. I have never been to Africa or any of the other amazing places you have, but this card I know. I am in love with nature and what you are describing here is one of the magics in my life, water and peace and joy.
