We were cycling straight towards the Pakistani Kashmir border when the temple caught my eye. It was perched on top of a mountain on the far side of the valley—nothing too unusual in a land known as “Little Tibet”. However, I was inexplicably attracted to this one. So we decided to undertake a challenging day-long detour which, unsurprisingly, involved a perilous passage suspended around a cliff. I can’t say who was more stupefied: the monks to see us, or us to be told that we were the first known foreigners to ever set foot here! | ||

AMAZING!
Amazing!
Who is “we”?
In what language were you able to communicate?
I was with Audrey, my girlfriend. As for communication, luckily, one of the 8 monks in the temple spoke English, so that was great!
Amazing Yannick. Keep them coming. Have you considered the eccentric places of ‘Derinkuyu underground city’ (in Turkey) or Cueva de los Tayos (in Ecuador)? So many mysterious places out there. Many are listed in the History.com series Ancient Aliens (see http://www.history.com/shows/ancient-aliens) unbelievable places to explore…
