Ghostly

Ghostly

laos stamp

The destroyed village was lifeless except for two lonely water buffaloes, which only made the scene that much more mysterious. My best guess was a flood. The only structure that hadn’t sustained any damage was the temple above the village—it had suffered a slower and less violent fate. Then there was the old man, the one who had appeared like a ghost high up on the opposite riverbank the previous night. He had patiently glanced over every bit of these ruins and then, just like the temple also abandoned by the villagers, he was swallowed up by the jungle.

Encore une belle et fascinante épopée qui m’enchante. Elle confirme aussi que je ne suis pas le seul à penser à l’excellent livre que ces récits donneront. Bravo encore une fois et merci pour tout le plaisir et la joie que tu nous procures.

    I wondered where you were.
    You are very poetic.

Saw a black dog, one day lying outside your door…but no car.
